Hey all! So first things first. I was both happy and proud to sponsor and donate 4 hours of recording time to the Music For a Cure event this past friday at The Belfry Gastro House. The Belfry Gastro House is such a nice venue and we raised over $1,250 for The Cancer Foundation. Although the turn out was just okay it was still a lot of fun and all for a great cause.
In other news... I've added 4 of the best Hip Hop producers to the Giant Star roster!
- Makemdef, originally from Vancouver, creates some of the most soulful beats around!
- White Lotus is an official affiliate of the Wu Tang Clan and has been supplying those grimey bangers to fiends all over the globe.
- Dragon is one of the coolest guys around and his beats are full of... epicness??? lol Yeah that's a word.
- Loop Hole is already on the map with doing tracks for Moka Only and brings a unique flavor to this already outstanding cast of talented producers.

Major update coming soon!
Lots of things going on but this blog will be brief and to the point.
This Saturday Giant Star Records is sponsoring KOTD's Ground Zero event at the Distillery at 2pm. Some great emcee battles going on!
On June 17th Giant Star Records is extremely happy to also be sponsoring the event "Music For a Cure" - with 100% of the proceeds going to The Cancer Foundation! There will be silent auctions, a raffle, lots of cool prizes and of course... great music!
Unfortunately cancer is alive and well in a lot of peoples lives and anything we can do to help alleviate that is always a plus!
Two BIG sponsorships in July and BIG news coming VERY shortly!
Things are good... and the business is getting some legs! Slowly coming together!
Pretty happy right now with the way it's going but... damn it's exhausting! lol
